DJ Shake began disc jockeying in college where he also became one of the first African- American college radio music directors for WICR (610 am) during his freshman year. As the music director, he was responsible for overseeing the appropriate mix of musical genres and programs for the radio station, reflecting the interest of the students, staff and listening community on campus. It was also his responsibility to establish and maintain quality relationships with numerous recording companies, promoters and other deejays to obtain a continuous flow of new material for the station.

Dave has had a passion for music since he was a child and has performed all his life in various bands as percussionist and continues to perform at venues all over the Metro-DC area. His talent doesn't stop there, he began his DJ career playing mainly at Weddings Batmitzvas and corporate events since the 1990's which has given him a real ability to understand all styles of music in every age group and culture he has a real passion for music and a very personable quality that livens up the party and gets people on the dance floor!
Andrew(Drew) Fry: Silver Spring, MD
For as long as he can remember, Drew has been interested in music. From playing drums to working at record stores (remember record stores?), music has always been a huge part of his life. While working at Kemp Mill Records in Washington, DC, the free promos and concert tickets expanded his musical tastes and knowledge from hip hop, top 40 and rap to classic rock and metal and everything in between. Take a ride with Drew and play radio trivia - he can name most any singer/band, song title and even album title heard on the radio!
Drew's love for music led him to DJ in clubs in DC in 1995. He's DJ'd for all size crowds - anywhere between 200 and 1,200 people. His vast musical knowledge allows him to adapt to any type of crowd in any type of venue. He prides himself on not playing music from only one genre, which has benefitted him when DJing weddings, house parties, corporate and embassy events and bars and night clubs. He is currently the resident Thursday and Saturday night DJ at Blue Iguana, a restaurant and bar in Fairfax, VA.
Drew developed superior customer service skills while working in retail and with patients as a Medical Biller/Insurance Specialist. He's won awards for his exemplary customer service. Drew's passion for music, calm demeanor and level of professionalism is evident every time he DJs whether it be a corporate party, bar or club or the most important day of your life - your wedding.

DJ Tony Contino: (Crofton, MD)
Tony has always shown a keen interest in music and radio since childhood. Tony now has a strong 15 years plus of professional deejaying experience to date. It all started when Tony joined his school radio station as a freshman. After only three short years at the radio station Tony surpassed everyone's knowledge on his team which led him to become the manager of the station by his senior year.
During that time Tony, was the "go to" guy for deejaying college parties performing a wide range of music including top 40, pop, trance, house, and urban music. After holding two executive board positions for his college radio station Tony became the FM Program director.
Two major qualities that set Tony apart from other deejay's is; a very professional attitude coupled with a tremendous amount of experience. To this day Tony continues to deejay mostly weddings, corporate events, and occasionally night clubs.

Michael Hesson: (Bowie, MD): Events Director
As the Event Director Michael makes certain everything is planned perfectly for your Event. He has been doing this since the 90s! Michael is very active in everything that goes on with the business, don't be surprised if you see him setting up with your DJ on the day of your event!
Michael has been Deejaying and Emceeing Wedding's and Parties since the 90's. In 2005 Michael Co-founded Hesson Entertainment with his two Brothers Ray and Ben Hesson. Together the Brothers train their entertainers to capture the essence of each one's unique talent by focusing on their best qualities while at the same time providing guidance and experience of the industry. Mike and Ray have had great success hiring the best and most talented DJ's they can find.
DJ / Booking Ray Hesson: (Arlington, VA)
Ray has been in the music industry singing as lead front man in many different bands ranging from Rock to Bluegrass. He has recorded Lead Vocals, Guitar, and Keyboards on countless albums produced starting in the early 1990's. He has also won MD competitions in the category of vocals and group performance.
As a Co-Founder of Hesson Entertainment, Ray currently heads up our sales team here and helps in the day to day operation of the business. On most weekends he performs with his band Right Foot Red at countless weddings and corporate parties throughout the year.
When the band isn't performing he also steps in to DJ Weddings and Private Parties for Hesson Entertainment.
